Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment from the UK in pounds sterling.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Switch. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, and mail or over the Internet.
When you place an order over the telephone, by fax, by email or via our online ordering service we will treat it as an offer to buy. If we accept your order we will send you an emailed or written receipt confirming the quantity and price of the goods that you have ordered, together with your order number, at which point a contract will exist between you and CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE. Alternatively, if we refuse to accept your order, for whatever reason, we will inform you in writing.
You warrant and represent that the information you provide when placing an order with CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.
The price of the goods ordered shall be as confirmed in the emailed receipt that we send to you, though we reserve the right to rectify any error. Prices are in Pounds Sterling, and are inclusive of VAT and one delivery during working hours in the mainland UK, unless stated otherwise.
Payment shall be due at the time of the order. If you fail to make payment as required, or if your funds fail to clear or are subsequently recalled, CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE may suspend delivery of all the goods until payment is made in full.
Trade Accounts are invoiced with payment due 30 days net from date goods leave our factories. Any special payment terms agreed in writing must be honoured, FAILURE TO PAY WITHIN THE AGREED TIME will mean our standard terms of 30 days net from invoice date will take priority
Compound interest will be charged at 2,5% per month on all outstanding invoice payments.
Any warrenties will be revoked if any invoice payment remains outstanding beyond 30 days of the invoice due date. Any/all costs incured in collecting outstanding invoice debts including any debt agency costs/commissions will be added to the outstanding debt and subject to interest charges at 3% per month.
Shipping And Handling
Order delivery varies on each item and is free of charge to mainland UK (Excluding Highlands & Islands). Main land Europe subject to discussion Tel O845 612 0741
Additional transport, warehousing and installation charges incured by PFI Holdings or it’s subsideries on behalf of the client will be invoiced to the client. This is where the client has not been able to receive our furniture delivery on the agreed day.
We will normally send your order to you in 2-14 working days via DFDS Transport who will deliver between the hours of 9am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Please ensure someone is at the delivery address. Goods will not be left without being signed for. Re-delivery will sometimes incur a charge.
Please ensure that you inspect the goods for damage on arrival or sign “DAMAGED” if the driver will not wait while you inspect the goods.
Office desk products are delivered on pallets, kerbside drop or loading bay only. Please do not order if you cannot accept goods in this way. Please call us to arrange installation 0845 612 0741 or email email@example.com
Delivery of the goods shall be made by CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE, or our representatives, to such place in the mainland UK. (excluding Highlands & Islands) You hereby confirm that you have adequate access, space and personnel to receive the furniture on the pre-agreed date. We are unable to deliver outside of normal working hours (except by prior arrangement).
Unless otherwise stated; the price of the goods includes one delivery in the UK (mainland). If an agreed delivery is refused or not completed, through the fault of the Buyer, and has to be re-delivered, a surcharge may be made amounting to 5% of the price for the goods, subject to a minimum of £50.
If items are not in stock, we will back order them for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges (VAT No GB 727 9969 62)
For orders made from the UK or from the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach BARCLAYS BANK. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We do not hold or see your credit card information.
All goods supplied by CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE come with a minimum 12 month manufacturer’s warranty covering structural defect unless stated otherwise. This does not include where the defect is caused by you through accident, negligence or misuse. CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE shall provide you with such information as are required to claim under the manufacturer’s warranties. It is your responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery. The couriers are obliged to wait while you inspect the goods. If the courier will not wait, please accept and sign as "DAMAGED".
In the event that the goods are damaged, you must notify
CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE within 48 hours of delivery of any apparent damage or missing goods.

We take all reasonable care to ensure that the details, descriptions, dimensions and prices of goods appearing on the contractfurniture-online website are as accurate and up to date as possible. However, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsoever you may, within seven (7) working days after the day of delivery of said items, notify our customer service department by email that you would like to return the goods, SUBJECT TO THE EXCEPTIONS SET OUT IN CLAUSE BELOW.
It is your responsibility to pay for and arrange the return of the goods, "as new", and with the original packaging. Any money which CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE has received from you in relation to the returned goods will be refunded in full to you within 30 days of receipt of the goods by us, provided that the goods are in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery. If no emailed notification stating that you wish to return the goods has been received by CONTRACTFURNITURE-ONLINE within seven working days after the day of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods and be liable for any sums still owed to us.
Orders that involve goods that have been made to order can only be cancelled within 24 hours of the order being accepted by us.
